As more and more companies notice many accidents happened because of fatigue cases, many operators are required using ADAS and DMS for modifying the driving behaviors. Last month VUEWO has successfully deployed hundreds of AI MDVR systems for the fleet in South Africa.
By using VUEWO AI MDVR, drivers can be reminded by the speakers connecting to the MDVR and fleet managers can easily check the status of drivers and the ratios of fatigue cases in different fleets or even different time periods. It helps lower more than 60% cases happened by fatigue driving.
In this project, Vuewo DMS (driver monitoring system) was installing the on the dashboard and facing to driver so that it can detect the face of drier (like the picture shown above). By using Vuewo algorithm, can it capture the face layout in order to find out if the drive is facing to the front when vehicle is moving.
Further it can not only detect fatigue cases but also smoking, making phone calls, distractions and other bad driving behaviors, which protect drivers from potential risks in long-period driving operations. This would be crucial in some industries especially in logistics, mining, bus etc.
On the other hand, for all the capture and videos of alerts it will be pushed to the server so that operators be directly searched by date, time, or types of alerts. All the evidence will be recorded locally and lively in the server, which saves much time and costs on traditional monitoring operation.
